Safety Communication

Use this section to create safety policies, notices and flyers etc.

The safety categories are created through the 'Administration - > Setup -> Safety Categories' menu item. Help for this item can be found here.

Basic Operation

The word processor opens with a basic Safety Promotion template. and a few notes listed as content.  You may save this template or create your own, but it is advisable not to save individual notices etc in the Templates folder.

Most functions that are available in Microsoft Word are available in the provided word processor. Some non exhaustive keyboard shortcuts as found in MS Word are:

  • Copy
  • Paste
  • Undo
  • Redo
  • Bold Type
  • Italic Type

Saving Statistical Data

When the safety document is completed and saved to disk the statistical data must be saved.  Select the category from the list, provide a pertinent title and check the completed box. This last function enabled the 'Save Statistical Data' button and when clicked commits the statistical data to the database.
